UAP Qatar took another step forward in its commitment to education and mentorship by successfully conducting its first online session for the Career Simulation Seminar Workshop with Grade 12 students of Philippine School Doha, in collaboration with PPOQ. This initiative, led by Chapter Secretary Ar. Joan De Guzman and Protocol Director Ar. Hamza Rufil, aimed to inspire and guide aspiring architects as they embark on their professional journeys.
The session was enriched by the presence of dedicated architect mentors who selflessly shared their expertise and experiences. A heartfelt appreciation was extended to Director for Professional Development Ar. Adrian Bolalin, Ar. Michaela Pasiona, Ar. Rowel Hilario, Ar. Rani Malinao, PP Ar. Ric Sesbreño, and Chapter Auditor Ar./RMP Randee Boy De Guzman, whose insights and passion helped shape a meaningful and engaging discussion.
With each shared story and piece of advice, the students gained valuable knowledge about the realities of the profession, equipping them with the confidence to pursue their dreams. This initiative not only strengthened UAP Qatar’s advocacy for architectural education but also reinforced the organization’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of architects.
As the day of learning continued, the spirit of mentorship and collaboration remained at the heart of the program, paving the way for future architects to take their first steps toward a promising career.
