August 2024 marked a month of strategic growth and community building for the UAP Qatar Chapter. The month began with a critical Board of Directors meeting focused on financial planning and event improvement strategies. A significant highlight was the chapter's collaboration with Philippine Professional Organization Qatar (PPOQ) to organize an inter-organizational basketball tournament, strengthening ties between Filipino professional groups in Qatar.
The chapter enhanced its public presence through a visit to Qabayan Radio 94.3, while also maintaining diplomatic relations through a courtesy call to the Philippine Embassy. Professional development remained a priority, culminating in a successful Town Hall and Webinar featuring discussions on the Architectural Code of the Philippines and Modern Filipino Architecture, attended by 80 members.
Notable achievements included signing a Memorandum of Agreement with the National Master Plumber Association of the Philippines Qatar (NAMPAP) and participating in the virtual UAP District A6 Inaugural, where the chapter's contributions were recognized by the UAP National leadership. The month concluded with final preparations for the upcoming PPOQ sports tournament, demonstrating the chapter's commitment to both professional excellence and community engagement.
