In an inspiring milestone, the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Qatar Chapter proudly welcomed Grade 12 students from Philippine School Doha (PSD) to their General Membership Meeting (GMM) on January 24, 2025, at Wyndham Grand Doha West Bay Hotel. This special event marked the first time that high school students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the professional world of architecture through the Career Simulation Seminar Workshop.
In collaboration with the Philippine Professional Organization in Qatar (PPOQ), UAP Qatar initiated this program as part of their Community Service Program. The workshop provided students with firsthand exposure to the architectural profession, offering them a deeper understanding of the field and the importance of continuous professional development. Through engaging discussions, interactive presentations, and mentorship from seasoned architects, the students gained valuable insights into the skills, dedication, and creativity required to thrive in this industry.
This initiative reflects UAP Qatar’s commitment to inspiring and guiding the next generation of architects. By bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world practice, they hope to ignite a passion for architecture among young minds and encourage them to pursue their dreams with confidence and purpose.
Together, they build the future—one aspiring architect at a time!
